almost run over
School is murder. I always have a lot of things to do, all my afternoons are completely booked, and reserved, for schoolwork. It's really frustrating how hard it is for me to control my life outside school when my current life status has the word "school" written all over it.
We'll be having our return demonstration of physical assessment next week and me and my partner barely know anything. It's a really long process, it's from head to toe and we not only look--we, well, examine eachother medically (?). We're going to work on it tomorrow but we don't know where to do it yet.
Speaking of my partner, as usual, we were walking to SM for lunch. It's a pretty tough job to go there since we have to cross the long Aurora Blvd. Cars, Jeeps, Trucks and Bikes come and go to and from different sides. It always scares us to cross the road since we think that one of these days, we might get run over by any wheeled thing rolling there. This time, it was great, the cars stopped right infront of the pedestrian lane (right where they should everytime). By the time we were crossing the other side with a couple of other people, this jeep ran like the other cars didn't stop. Eli's impulse was that she ran, barely being hit by that stupid jeep. I was practically frozen in the middle of the road out of fear and common sense. I mean if I had followed Elinor, i would have been run over (definitely) by the jeep. But at the same time, although i stood frozen in the middle, the jeep was so close i still thought i was going to get hit and die or something. I was so scared it was the first time my friends saw me cry. REALLY, it was scary. There were so many cars on a stop then one stupid son of a biatch drove his ugly jeep right over the pedestrian lane while people were still crossing.
Now, I have a new respect for mommy and daddy's obsession with killing jeepney drivers. I wish I could kill THAT driver. Or maybe I wish he's be in the same situation as I had been.
